WE'RE PREGNANT!!!

I have been the biggest slacker on here! It's been over a month since I've updated the blog. And SO...... much has happened since then so it's definitely time for an update! Well - the most exciting thing is that Nate and I find out were expecting a baby!! And boy, are we excited! That's a big portion of our conversation these days :) It's amazing to realize there is something inside of me - a growing embryo! (It's still an embryo because I'm only 9 1/2 weeks along!) But our baby is due on June 17th, Nate's b-day! That would be an awesome birthday present. And one week ago we got the first ultrasound. It's kinda hard to see, but I took a picture of the print out. I think it looks like Nate already :)


Anyway, that's our exciting news! It couldn't be due at a better time...it will be after next semester so I can finish up most of my degree and then only have 2 classes left to take online while the baby is sleeping! :) We are so excited! Nikki is so sweet too that she bought us the cutest cookie bouquet to congratulate us! She's gonna be an aunt too! Here's a picture of the bouquet:
It's been SUCH a great month! Nate got a large raise at work too. It's amazing that right after we found out we were expecting he got a raise. We feel so blessed! We've had a fun time lately too. Last weekend we went to my parent's house to house sit and watch Becca. We had lots of fun there. Saturday we were all over during the day and then at night Nathan and Danae came over and we watched the Wedding Crashers with them, Becca, and Steve. It was a funny movie, but make sure to see it edited! Then this week we are just looking forward to spending lots of time with our families! I can't even wait. Today was the only day I had class and Nate only has one class tomorrow and then we have lots of free time! It will be so fun! Well, that's the update on us! I will be better at keeping up on here too!
