Happy Easter and Baby's Room

So Nate and I have been busy the last few weeks painting the nursery. We found a really cute tan, red, and blue bed set, so we decided to paint the room that blue. But we didn't want too much blue, so we decided to put chair railing in, paint tan on top and the blue on the bottom. That was a big project for us because we have never done anything like that. So last week we painted, while Nate had Spring Break. Nate did all of the blue himself and I helped with the tan. Then yesterday, one of our friends, Matt, from our new ward offered to help us with the chair railing. He does construction all day every day so he knew exactly what he was doing. We are SO glad he helped because he had all the perfect tools and knew exactly what to do. If he didn't help it would have taken three days for us to do. But with his help, it took just a few hours. So last night, I was gone for about an hour, and Nate decided to paint the chair railing and just finish the entire job. So it is complete now! Our little project is over and we are so excited. It turned out better than we could have imagined. I can't wait to start decorating more :)

Here's Nate sanding off the walls for the first coat of paint:

Also, we want to wish everyone a HAPPY EASTER!! It came so fast this year it's hard to believe it's already Easter. But we are very excited because we get to spend the entire day with both of our families.

Your future baby boy's room looks really cute. Good work!I passed nate's parents on the freeway and then they got off at the same exit as me. I couldn't get their attention to wave hello, but it was fun to see them anyway. Happy Easter!

It looks great! We can't wait to see it all finished. With all these home improvements, you will find that Home Depot is your new favorite place to shop. One of these days we will have to stop by and peek.
