Thankful Thursday

First off, I am so sad about David Archuleta not winning. I think he totally had the better voice out of the two. I was so confident that he was gonna win by a ton, but I guess the three times we voted didn't help out enough. Nate and I had to turn off the tv once they announced the new AI because we were so mad. Nate even had a dream about it last night. I keep hoping they are going to announce that they miscounted the votes and really, David Archuleta is the winner. We'll see if that happens :) So, what am I thankful for this week?

1 - I'm near the end of the pregnancy! Woohoo. As much as I love being pregnant and feeling that excitement of a little baby growing inside of me, I am so excited to be able to move around a little easier soon and be able to sleep on my stomach comfortably. My tummy juts way out now and it has been causing me some back pain that I could do without. And I just want to meet our little guy! Nate and I are so excited that he'll be here in less than a month! 9 months is a long time to wait to meet our baby!

2 - Finishing a project - I love that feeling of finishing something and checking it off my TO DO list. Yes, I am one of THOSE people. I had to scrapbook everything from September last year to now and I finished it last night. I am so grateful to be able to check that off!

3 - Nate cleaning the kitchen and bathroom - I was not feeling that great last night and Nate scrubbed the bathtub, did the dishes, and swept and made our home look a little cleaner. Nate is always helping around the house and I appreciate it so much. Since we've been married, I've only cleaned the bathtub one time cause I hate that job...he has done it every time. I'm glad he doesn't mind :)

4 - Our stroller finally came! - I have been searching for a perfect stroller/car seat/carrier that would last us a long time. We went to Babies R' Us and Baby Depot and we didn't find anything we loved. So I started searching online and we found one that looks sturdy, is gender neutral, and black (for some reason I wanted a black or gray stroller). We both love it!

5 - Sleeping in - Nate and I realize that our sleep will be greatly diminished once Aiden arrives, so we have been taking advantage of sleeping in as long as we want. I feel so much better when I get a full eight hours of sleep.

We were so sad he didn't win! We let the boys stay up to watch, and they were pretty devistated. I was so sure he couldn't loose. I guess our 3 votes didn't help either. I love your stroller and car seat. They look like they will last you through many kids! June is coming up so fast. He is going to be here before you know it, and we need to talk about having a baby shower for you guys soon!

Where have I been? I haven't seen your last few blogs. I love your thankful Thursdays. What a good idea! I love your new stroller, too. Black is a good color. It will hide dirties, it's neutral, and it's in style. What more could you ask for?
