Aiden did SO well on the ride up! Aiden has been on such a good sleeping schedule and I was worried the car ride would throw off his schedule if he slept too much on the way up to Idaho so I sat in the back with him the whole way up to keep him entertained. He didn't cry the entire time up there! He took 2 little cat naps but then he just listened to music with us and tried to eat his hands.

We got up there SO fast because Nate was trying to catch up to Erik and Amie who were a few miles ahead of us. We only stopped one time the entire way up! And Nate tried to give Aiden a mini-driving lesson. He still needs to grow to reach the gas pedal but he did pretty good with the steering wheel.

The next day Jared rented a boat for all of us so we spent the day at Cascade Reservoir. It was beautiful up there! I was a pretty lake in the middle of the lush mountains. And luckily the temperature was just perfect. They set up a canopy on the beach there and Aiden and I camped out there with Trina and Luke and Amie a lot of the day while the guys all went out on the boat. Here are Luke and Aiden on the beach...they are definitely gonna be good buds one day!

Aiden went on his first boat ride though...and I am sure he will have plenty more because Nate LOVES boating. Aiden will probably be waterskiing at the age of 2 if Nate has anything to do with it :) Aiden definitely did not like the life jacket he was wearing...his belly is so big that it was VERY tight on him...as you can see.

But once we got going on the boat he didn't seem to mind it at all! Actually, he fell asleep from the noise of the boat and the movement.
On Sunday we went to Luke's blessing and Chris' ordination. It was so fun to be there in Idaho for that! While Chris was being ordained though , Aiden had a huge BM and exploded all over his outfit! It was so loud and I had to hold back from laughing. It got all over his clothes so we stripped him down to his diaper so that is why he is naked in the picture :) We took a cute picture of all of the 10 boys together and they definitely are a good looking crew!

We went on a Sunday walk later but unfortunately Jake fell off his little skateboard contraption thing (I forgot what it was called) and he got a black eye for his battle wound. He didn't seem to complain about it the rest of the time though and he just toughed it out. Jared & Trina just bought a Wii and so that was played a lot of the day. I tried bowling, tennis, and golf while we were there and I was especially bad at tennis! I need more practice before I play next time. It was a lot of fun though. So if anyone wants to buy a Wii (like mom and dad), Nate and I would be glad to help you use it :)
Monday the girls and Spencer, Luke, and Aiden went shopping around the town of Eagle while the boys all went to Boondocks. Eagle is such a fun town! It is a lot like Alpine in that it used to be an old farming town and now there are tons of beautiful new developments going in. It was so fun to spend time in Boise because we had never done that before. Here are the three littlest boys while we were shopping:

We had such a fun time there! Thanks so much Jared and Trina for having us!!
Here are some more pictures from the trip:

I love all the cute pictures- I'm so glad you had a good time, but we missed you here! I'm sorry that you can't see when our blog is updated now that it's private- that's sort of a pain. Oh and my favorite of these pictures is the first one of Aiden. So adorable!
It looks like you had a good time! I love that picture of the 9boys all lined up. That's incredible. The Tadje name will definitely be preserved! When will we see you again? We were seeing you so often, now it seems like forever since we've seen you!
Correction: 10 boys!
I had to laugh at the BM explosion. Gotta love it:)
We were so glad you guys came up to Boise with us. It was so much fun having you there and getting to spend time with you. We have never paid such close attention to the mile markers before!
