Weekend Frenzy

Last weekend was packed full of fun things! Now that Nate is busy with school during the week, we make sure to have a good time on the weekends. I usually look forward to Friday as soon as I wake up on Monday morning :) Last Friday night we had a big work party with Nate's work at VitalSmarts. It was an Olympic Theme so Panda Express catered and there were games. Nate's team won human fusball so we won a $15 gift certificate to University Mall. He needs a nice warm jacket so he doesn't freeze on his scooter so that gift certificate came at the perfect time :) On Saturday we had TWO BBQs. I guess we have to fit in all the summer-time fun of BBQing before it gets too cold. We had Brandon and Sharon over at our place to watch the BYU game (go cougars!) and we had a BBQ over here. We love spending time with them and we had a blast while they were over! Aiden enjoyed the game too. Because of his size, we think he needs to play football when he is older so he was learning the ins and outs of football on Saturday by watching it VERY closely :)

And we bought him a BYU shirt so he learns at a young age that he can only like BYU.

After the game we went to another BBQ with some of our friends in our ward. There were four couples there and we each have one baby and it was so fun to see all the babies together. Unfortunately I forgot my camera! Our friends Stacy and Matt's little girl is walking all over the place now and she liked trying out Aiden's binky. It was so fun to spend time with all of them!

Then on Sunday we went up the canyon with my family for another BBQ over the fire! We had tin-foil dinners that were delicious! The other day I bought Aiden some cute fall-time clothes so I was glad it was chilly enough up there for him to wear his new clothes. I thought he looked so cute so I just keep taking pictures of him.

And today Aiden and I had a wonderful time at my parent's house. We had a Girl's Day with Danae and Camryn, my mom, and Becca there today. We watched two good chick-flicks over there! Now I need to go do the laundry, make dinner, and clean-up our place b/c I have definitely been a slacker and put those on hold the last few days while we were having fun.

Hey thanks for inviting us over on Saturday! It was so much fun, and Aiden was made for playing football! Those pictures of him were so cute!
P.S. your house was spotless on Saturday...so I don't think you are a slacker like you say you are!

Cute BYU shirt! It's a good thing he knows his team!

You list of barbques made me want to go up the canyon for tinfoil dinners, and I might do just that on Sunday!
