Highlights from Christmas break

This has been a very busy Christmas break for us! But we have loved being able to spend so much time together! We've been up to so much but here are a few things we've especially loved:

- Andrew, Melanie, and Jackson came to visit and it was so fun to finally meet their little boy! He is so precious! For the Curtis family Talent Show, the babies did a nativity. Camryn was Mary, Aiden was Joseph, and Jackson was an angel. It was so funny!

We didn't have any dolls laying around, so we improvised for the baby Jesus and the manger :)

Here's a picture of all three babies in the Curtis family...last Christmas there were no grandchildren and now there are 3. Getting all babies to look in the same direction for the picture was quite challenging:
- For the big Curtis family Christmas party Aiden got the hugest present there...but all he wanted to do was eat it.

- Christmas Eve we had Chinese food as our annual tradition and then spent the evening with the Tadjes. We opened our warm and fuzzies (pjs) and ate a delicious dinner! Here are Aiden and Lydia in their new pajamas:
- Christmas morning we stayed at home just the three of us and watched Aiden open up his gifts. It was so fun to see him get excited to see new toys (he gets sick of the same things over and over these days) My favorite present he got was a baby basketball toy that makes sound and keeps him entertained for a long time:

Here we are Christmas morning:

Aiden was so spoiled this Christmas! He got so many fun books and toys! My sister Becca made him the cutest Harry Potter ABC book. Nate and I got some fun things too. In my family we draw names and Steve game to me this year. He gave me a gift card and then a certificate that said:

CERTIFICATE OF OWNERSHIP
- MY CLEARPLAY
- MY DVD COLLECTION (and he has a ton of dvds!)
Valid through 2/2009 - 2/2011 (his mission)
Signed...Steve Curtis

I'm so excited to get a bunch of new movies to watch. I thought that was a funny idea.
- Another highlight was going through the temple with Steve while he got his endownments out. He leaves in just over a month for Brazil and we are so excited for him!
- 2 of Nate's best friends - Trevor and Jason - married beautiful girls over the break and my good friend Natalie and roommate freshman year also married her missionary. It was so fun to get to spend their special days with them!
- Nate's mom also celebrated her b-day on Friday and got a brand new bike. We enjoyed spending the evening with all the Tadjes that night while we celebrated her b-day.

That's our Christmas break! I hope you all enjoyed Christmas too!

It was fun to see you guys on Christmas and then party the next day. We are glad that you are enjoying the cheesecake. We need to make a trip up to the Cheesecake Factory one of these days. (maybe just for dessert!)

What a fun Christmas! I love all of the great pictures and can't believe how fast Aiden is growing up. I wish our little guys would stay small longer. Let's get together next week.
