I had to post these pictures because Aiden is just too cute! I know I am biased because I'm his mom, but I love his smiles and his playfulness! He turned 7 months old yesterday. Here are 5 facts about our little boy at 7 months:
1. Aiden loves to be read to. I have read to him since he was just a few days old and now whenever I hold him on my lap in the rocking chair and read to him he gets really excited because he knows exactly what is coming. His favorite book (I think) is "Farm Animals". My parents gave it to him for Christmas and it has these huge googly-eyes of farm animals on every page and Aiden tries to grab them every time we read it. It's so funny.
2. He is the best sleeper in the world! He sleeps about 11 hours at night and takes 3 naps during the day. Whenever it is time for him to sleep I just rock him and lay him in his crib with two blankets, music in the background, his mobile on, and a binky and he quickly falls asleep. He has done this for a while now and I love getting a full-night sleep!
3. Aiden hates tummy time with a passion. He can be perfectly happy but as soon as he is laid down on his stomach he gets so mad. I've tried nearly everything to get him to like it and nothing has worked. Suggestions and ideas are always welcome :)
4. When I am feeding Aiden solids he sometimes tries to eat his bib if I take too long to give him his next bite. Then he gets really mad when I try to give him his next bite but his mouth is covered by his bib. Little does he know that he is doing that to himself.
5. He will sit up all by himself for the longest time! As long as he has toys all around him, he is perfectly content. I love this stage because he can entertain himself and be stationary. I am sure it won't last too much longer though :)

So cute! I love bath time pictures of babies. Aiden just looks so happy and cute in these pictures!
He's such a cute little guy! He's just way too interested in the world around him to love tummy time! It cuts out too much of his view of what's going on! What a sweetie!
The sitting by them self phase is so awesome... finally you don't have to carry them everywhere or feel like they are always stuck looking at the ceiling. It is so nice! Congratulations!
As for tummy time - I don't even know if it matters... Emma hardly got any and crawled a 11 months, Carson was on his tummy 100 time more and still crawled at 11 months. Do you have a tummy mat? If not you can borrow ours, we don't need it until July or after... it helped to have something for them to play with while they were being harassed with "tummy time".
