Car Problems?

So the other day I brought our car into an auto shop and they told me I had a leak in one of the fuel injectors. In order to fix it, they said it would cost $1300 for labor and all the parts. So I figured there was no way out of it and I just scheduled the appointment and left. Once I told Nate, he said there is no way we would pay that much and he decided he would figure out how to fix it himself. So he bought the manual about our car at Auto Zone and a few rubber ring things (I don't know the technical name for them) and he read up online about how to fix this problem. So today he spent ALL day and fixed it! He had to take apart part of the engine and take out the back seat and all. And now our car runs beautifully once again! All the stuff Nate bought cost $22 and that was it! So we spent $22 instead of $1300! :) That definitely made our day. I am so happy Nate is willing to try out new things and work so hard on his day off!

Nate you are amazing!!! Good job Bud! That is such a blessing that he was able to do that! If that ever happens again and he needs help, we have a good friend who is awesome with cars and has gotten us out of expensive situations like that. Congratulations again! Nate you are the best!

That is amazing...gives me hope that maybe Andrew can try that out sometime if we need to.

That is a huge relief! Now, I would think of how you would have spent that money anyway so you might as well spend it on something fun. hahahaha!

Wow, way to go Nate!! Nothing like saving $1300 :-) I wish Matt was around so he could do that for me! I had a $700 repair in November before discovering an awful leak in December that they said would be another $700... so I took it to UVU to get it done for half the price but haven't had a car for 3 weeks now. I hate cars.
