11 Months

3 facts about Aiden these days:

1. He LOVES to read books...by himself or with me or Nate. We find him in his room just browsing through his books and it is so cute. A few times a day Aiden and I will read through some of his books on the couch and he will just sit there and help me turn each page. He never likes to just sit down and be still unless we are reading a book. Of course I only get through a couple of words before he turns the page but he seems to like reading the condensed versions.

2. He loves to be on our bed and climb through all of the pillows. Seriously, Aiden crawls over to our bed about 10 times a day, stands up to it, and does his signal for "more," meaning he wants us to get him on our bed. As soon as we put him on our bed he gets so excited and bounces up and down over and over again.

3. He loves being outside. We try to spend as much time as possible outside. We were able to go to the zoo with Aaron, Samantha, and his cousin Lydia and the babies loved it!

Nate thinks this picture looks like it is from the 1800s when everyone had a straight face and looked angry. Aiden and Lydia look mad but they weren't. It's just impossible to get two babies to look and smile at the camera at the same time. :)

Aiden and Lydia kept holding hands and it was so cute!

I just got a new camera so I went picture happy at the zoo. I took a ton of pictures of different animals but the coolest was this massive turtle. You can't tell how big it really is in the picture but it was the biggest turtle I could ever imagine.

And now only one month until our baby enters toddlerhood!

That is so cute that they hold hands! I can't believe Aiden is already 11 months old. I bet he'll be walking by the time we get home! We miss you guys!

Thanks for the visit last night. It was so fun to see you guys. Aiden is darling, and I can't believe he is going to be 1 in a few weeks. One of these days, when we get our port-a-crib back, we will have you over for a game or movie night.

It was great reading all about Aiden. We love that kid. I'm so glad that he and Finn are able to play. We will have to get together much more this summer. P.S. It was great seeing you at Thanksgiving Point Gardens today.
