Last Thursday, Nate and I headed down to Powell for the weekend with Aaron, Samantha, Jason, Emily, and Rich. My sister Becca and my parents were kind enough to tend Aiden while we went down. Rich has been working down in Wahweap all summer at a rental shop and he was able to get us a weekender houseboat for only $20 bucks a night! (It is normally $800 a night!)
We found a beach to stay at with tons of shade which helped us to endure the hot hot weather.
Here's a picture of the weekender...it was nice to have a bathroom near by AND running water!

We all went to rainbow bridge one day and hiked up.
It was such a fun trip and we hope to go back again next year!

Isn't it so nice to get away? I love vacations. And you gotta love parents who are so nice to keep your kid overnight! Yay!
Brings back some awesome memories of sleeping in the boat in someone else's slip... fun times!
