One Saturday, Nate's mom came with us while we hiked to Upper Silver Lake. Nate and I haven't hiked it since before his mission and I had forgotten how gorgeous it is at the top!
Another night we went up to roast hot dogs with Jason and Emily. Aiden was so funny the whole time because he did not want to hang out with us at all...he just wanted to explore the whole time. Of course we kept a good eye on him but we just let him roam around finding rocks to throw and sticks to hold. He was so happy up there (as you can see from his cheesy grin...with food all over his face).
Another day we just drove around the Alpine Loop. It was slightly overcast and beautiful so we took a family picture.
This next weekend we are spending even more time up in the prettiest canyon...while we go camping for 3 days with my family. We can hardly wait!
