Little Dragon

We had such a fun week celebrating Halloween! Aiden got to wear his adorable costume 4 different times and he got so excited to put it on each time. He didn't quite understand the whole idea of Halloween, he just liked eating lots of candy. Here's our little dragon:

We started the Halloween celebration on Thursday with a fun Halloween party for all the little kids in our mommy & me music playgroup. Carolyn threw such a fun party where the kids got to play with playdough, color pumpkins, decorate cupcakes (except Aiden just ate his), pin the nose on the monster, throw the ball in the bucket, and many more fun games for little toddlers.

We tried getting all the kids to sit on the couch for a group picture in their costumes and we got most of them to sit down for 5 seconds.

That night we headed to the ward Halloween party and had a fun time eating lots of this:
The next day Aiden and I went to Nate's work for the company trick or treat and we ended up with LOTS of candy! Our little dragon got lots of attention from Nate's coworkers and he loved it. Afterwards Nate and Aiden shared a lot of the candy.
On Halloween night we had even more fun! We first visited grandma Tadje at work in Alpine. Aiden was given lots of M&Ms and tootsie rolls there. Then we headed over to grandma and grandpa Curtis' house where we had a fun Halloween party with lots more candy and cookies there. We ate some festive Halloween food there like "bones and blood" (or breadsticks and marinara sauce), mummy dogs (hot dogs wrapped in crescent rolls), witches brooms (pretzels sticking out of a broom-shaped cookie), and lots of yummy food. I attempted to make these ghost cookies for it but they looked pretty pathetic in the end. Luckily they still tasted good!

Then Becca and her friend Taylor briefly took Aiden and Camryn around trick or treating for even more candy! After all the candy, the little dragon and the little witch had lots of energy from their sugar high and chased each other around all night long!

We love Halloween!

We saw them chasing each other up the stairs at your mom's house--so cute! I love his little dragon costume. And it was so fun to see you for a second! I hope I can look half as good as you when I'm pregnant :-)
