i wish weekends came more often

This past weekend was so wonderful I was sad when Sunday night came to an end and I realized our busy week was about to begin again.  Saturday morning we went and watched the Cedar Hills parade cause Becca was in it.  Aiden was soaking it all up.  He loved having candy thrown at him and seeing all the cars and bikes ride by.  Things are so much better when you look at them through a 2-year-old's point of view!  He was so cute the entire time.  After the parade, we walked around the carnival at the park and Aiden got to play on the inflatable slides and he even got to try the donut-on-a-string eating contest...and he did pretty well!

We spent the rest of the weekend having an amazing time.  The four of us went out for ice cream at Baskin Robins one night, we spent time at a fun birthday party at Kangaroo Zoo (which Aiden can never get enough of), Becca spent the night at our place for two nights, Becca watched the kiddos while Nate and I went on a much needed date, and we had a fun BBQ at Erik & Amie's house.  I sure hope this next weekend comes fast!

Also, before church on Sunday I snapped this adorable picture of Nate and the boys wearing their white shirts and yellow ties. Aiden kept pulling silly faces while I tried to take a picture but I finally got a decent one!
