nate vs. sarah


Nate and I both wanted to start eating better and exercising more so we began a little competition with each other.  We don't necessarily want to loose weight - we just want to live healthier (aka stop our bad habits).  We get points each day for the good things we do. So basically these are our guidelines:

 - 30 minute work out
 - no soda
 - no sweets
 - daily vitamin
 - drink 64 oz water
 - no food after 7:30
 - 7 hours of sleep
 - 5 servings fruits or veggies

So whoever has the most points at the end of the week gets a prize.  And our competition is going til Dec. 31 so if we each meet our goal of 310 points by the end of the year we get a bigger reward :)  Then hopefully after the competition we will do these healthy things out of habit.  That's the goal.  Nate and I are both very competitive so already we've already gotten almost all of our pointsl. Except Nate already has a couple extra points on me - due to the fact that 8 full glasses of water a day is SO HARD! But I guess we'll see how we end up on December 31!

Good idea!!! I bet you guys will feel a big difference by the time you are done. I should do that someday... :)
