new trick

This year we are lucky enough to get TWO thanksgiving dinners.  Yesterday we had a really fun day bowling with the Curtis fam and eating way too much food - and tomorrow we are excited to have another yummy dinner with the Tadje family.  But in between our two fun days, Brennan learned to crawl!

He's at the exact same age Aiden was at when he started crawling - 8 1/2 months.  He's been close to crawling for a while now and today the light bulb went off.  Although B will entertain himself better now and be able to explore new things, we will have to watch his every move and baby proof our house again.  I don't know if I'm ready for that again. And we put up our Christmas tree today and he keeps crawling over to it to pull on the branches.  So our tree will probably have to come down cause I'm scared he would hurt himself.  What do people do about Christmas trees when you have a little baby in the house that doesn't understand no?!

This pic was taken yesterday when B could only scoot backwards.  He had no control over where he went so he ended up under my parent's chair a few times. He didn't like that too much.
