Aiden loved helping us decorate for Christmas this year. He was so excited when we pulled out some Christmas books, the nativities, the stockings, and especially the tree. He got so excited each time he hung a new ornament on the tree. I seriously love his age (2 1/2) because he soaks up everything around him. Christmas will be so fun this year.
On December 1st we started our nightly ritual of lighting the Christmas candle and reading a Christmas story. I did that all growing up and now the four of us are doing it too. It is really helping us get in the "Christmas spirit" :)
We also got to go to Festival of Trees this past week. My mom donated a tree this year and it was fun to see it there. The tree was called "just add milk" and it had a Christmas cookie theme. My mom went all out on it and the tree turned out so cute. I love seeing all the trees there. People are so creative with the trees they do. I bet some of the trees people donate are worth thousands. One even had a flat screen tv to go with it!
And now only 22 days 'til Christmas!

I LOVE the Festival of Trees! Your mom's tree turned out so cute. I love her theme, too! It makes the festival even more special when you're involved like that, doesn't it? We donated a BYU Football-themed tree dedicated to Jason the year he passed away, and it was the neatest experience.
