Isn't that the cutest little smile?! In just 6 days, our little baby begins his second year of his life. And the last few days I have realized I'm not ready for him to grow up. I'm not ready for him to stop cuddling with me after his nap and laying on my shoulder as I rock him over and over. Any day now he'll be walking and, like all one-year-olds, fighting for his autonomy. I'm excited to see what the next year brings, but a little sad time is flying. Some things I don't want to forget about little B at 12 months:
- He is the energizer bunny. When you think he must be tired from crawling non-stop all day, he just keeps going and going and going.
- No matter how many times he has done it before, he still gets excited rolling off all the toilet paper in the bathroom.
- He's a mama's boy. :)
- He loves when we sing songs. He tries to do the actions sometimes and it's cute seeing him try to figure it out.
- He loves playing hide and seek with Aiden.
- He is the messiest eater. I swear he knows I don't enjoy cleaning it up so he makes sure to do it for every meal.
- Bath time is his favorite.
- He can't live without his beloved binky. This next year we'll have to work on weaning him off...
- He loves his daddy! He gets so excited when Nate walks in the door after work. He crawls over to Nate's feet, flaps his arms in anticipation, and smiles so big as soon as Nate picks him up. It's pretty dang cute.
We sure love him!

Cute picture! He looks exactly like his daddy here. Can't believe he will be one already, it feels like he was just born!
That picture of him is darling! I can't believe he is going to be 1 so soon. Both of your boys are growing up so fast!! (I guess that means my kids are too) We can't wait to see you guys on Sunday. We better have a birthday cake!:)
We love him too. I feel like we don't make enough opportunities to spend time together. Once a month is not enough! :(
