April Outings

Ice Skating

We went ice skating with the Kunzlers and the Vongsawads.  Nate and I haven't been since high school (one of our very first dates actually) and our boys have never been...so ice skating was interesting.  Brennan LOVED it and Aiden HATED it.  Even though Aiden complained most of the time, the rest of us still had fun and we want to do it again soon.

Nikki was SO nice helping us take care of our boys and get them ready to go on the ice!  She's one of our boy's favorite babysitters. 

Dinner at Rich & Kamilla's

Rich and Kamilla are finally settled in their new home so we went over for dinner one night.  Jason & Emily, Trevor & Krista and Parker (Ali was at work) all went over too.  We ate some yummy quesedillas, and then the wives talked while the guys played soccer and football.  Later on Rich gave the boys a slow little ride around on the motorcycle.  They were nervous at first but then A&B wanted to go again and again.  

Aquarium

For the April preschool field trip, we headed to the Living Planet Aquarium.  We haven't been there for over a year now and the kids LOVED it.  The penguins were their favorite.  Afterwards, we had a picnic at a park.  I'm so glad Aiden has such an awesome preschool group!

Lowe's Extreme Air Sports

We met up with the Kunzlers at Lowes Air Sports to let the kids jump around. I've never even heard of it until recently and it's such a fun place.  Nate joined in on the fun and showed off with some flips and a nice big belly flop into the foam pit (his back is still feeling that one).  I definitely want to take the kids again when it's not as busy and let them play around.
