There is so much I want/need to blog about and so little time to do it, so here is one big mega post so I can start getting caught up.
Carolyn, Nate, and their six kids came to visit from Arizona. And Trina and her six boys were in town from Boise so we had some fun get-togethers with the Tadje family. Sadly, me and the boys were out of town for a couple of the days, but we still were able to meet up for a few dinners in Erik & Amie's backyard and a couple dinners at the new park in Alpine. There are so many cousins on the Tadje side (Nate's parents have 32 grandkids and counting!) and our boys love playing with them.
Melanie and Jackson also came into town for a few days and we had a blast with them. Jackson and Aiden are only a few months apart and they get along so well! We spent our time at Tracy Aviary, City Creek Center, swimming, Kangaroo Zoo, and just playing at my parents house.
I love this picture below because my parent's dog Vanilla decided to get it, and she would not get out.
My mom bought the boys some matching shirts...don't they look so cute?!
While we were shopping at City Creek, Melanie had the great idea to surprise my mom (while she was watching the kids on the playground) and get Becca's ears pierced. Becca had them pierced a while ago but they closed up and she has refused to get them redone. But when Melanie suggested it, Becca said yes and we went straight to Claire's before Becca could change her mind :) Afterwards it was so fun to walk up to my mom and see how long it took her to notice. She was SO happy Becca finally did it.
It has been so fun having family in town!
We also stayed at my parent's house for five days while Nate was out of town. Every time Nate goes out of town, we go stay at my parents for two reasons: 1) I don't love being home alone at night and 2) its a good excuse to go hang out and have fun with my parents and Becca and Steve.
We went on lots of walks, went to the park, ate snow cones, sewed, and stayed up late watching movies.
We spent a whole day sewing. My mom helped my cousin Wendy sew a quilt together for college, I made some receiving blankets for my friend, and my mom made this awesome teepee for the grandkids. She didn't LOVE making this teepee b/c the instructions were so confusing, but it turned out SO cute and I'm so happy she finished it. Aiden loved sleeping in it too.

July was such a fun month! Crazy there is only one more month of summer left.
