The boys just finished up their fall soccer season. In the past we have done the Cedar Hills Soccer League but this time around we did it in American Fork. Aiden was on a Kindergarten team and Brennan was on a preschool team. The boys loved having a little activity to look forward to each week. Surprisingly, the Kindergarten league is pretty intense here in American Fork. Some of the little kindergartners are not afraid to get right in the middle of everyone (even throwing elbows at times) and get the ball. Aiden is not very aggressive so he didn't get a ton of time kicking the ball but he sure looked cute out on the field! Aiden's team played this one Spanish team that would probably even beat me at soccer! They had specific plays and all and you could tell their parents were trying to prepare these kids to be soccer stars. Who knew the Kindergarten league would be so intense! But he enjoyed playing and that's all that counts!
^^our little poser^^
Brennan's preschool league was more laid back and the games were pretty funny to watch at times. Brennan was definitely one of the smallest kids out there but he did awesome. He is pretty fearless so he would get right in there and take the ball from the other team. Sadly, there was a kid on Brennan's team that would often steal the ball from his own teammates so Brennan didn't make as many goals as he could have (thanks to the ball hog) but he still did great and loved playing. And both boys especially loved the snacks after the games! Many fruit snacks and Capri Suns were consumed this season!
My favorite thing was seeing Brennan out on the field, looking over at me and Nate and giving us thumbs up. After each little play he did, he was so proud of himself he'd do thumbs up! I sure love those two boys!
