Valentine's day was great this year! Nate gave me a beautiful bouquet of some lilies and I gave him the same thing he wants each year - a big heart-shaped sugar cookie with lots of frosting. Typical of Nate and his sugar-addiction :) The morning of Valentine's day, I had big hopes of waking up early and having the table all decorated with balloons and candy and a tablecloth and all...but we all slept in a little so our breakfast was a little more low key but still just as fun. I made Strawberries and Cream Stuffed French Toast and the kids each got to open a little gift and we had a nice relaxing morning. Later in the day, Brenann had a V-day party at preschool and Aiden had a party in his school class that I got to help out with. The kids came home with so many valentines and ate way too much candy the rest of the day. And Valentine's day night, Nate and I got to go on a date. I love spending quality one-on-one time with him! It was the perfect way to spend the day with those I love most!
