Saturday we got to participate in a fun Easter Egg Hunt and brunch at Nate's work. The people he works with are always planning fun parties and get-togethers and we love getting to hang out with them. The kids scored big time finding eggs and got SO MUCH candy. I honestly think it will take months to finish it.
Callie got to enjoy her very first Easter egg hunt. She had no idea what was going on of course but it was fun walking around with her to find eggs anyway.
Saturday night I was able to go to the Messiah performance at the Tabernacle with my dad and Steve. It was a wonderful way to celebrate Easter. And it was awesome seeing my mom in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir there. She did great!
Sunday was a wonderful day as well. We were able to visit both families after church, eat two yummy meals, and the boys got even more candy (and some books) which they were excited about. My parents also took the boys on a little "Easter walk" where they read some scriptures about the Easter story and found some little treasures. It was the perfect Easter Sunday.
I am so grateful for our little family and that I can be with them forever because the Savior suffered for our sins and died for us. I am forever grateful for all He did!
