Shark Attack Party

The day before Aiden's 6th birthday, we threw an awesome Shark Attack party...complete with shark fin cupcakes, a shark water bounce house, another regular bounce house, a blow up pool, and a snow cone machine.  It was the easiest party ever because the kids kept themselves entertained the entire time with the bounce houses and everyone seemed to have a blast!  We were originally planning on just renting the shark bounce house and the snow cone machine, but the owner of the rental place threw in an extra bounce house for us for free!  It turned out great because there were about 12 kids that came so it really helped to have two bounce houses.
The day of the party, the weather was a little overcast and it was forecasted to have scattered thunderstorms all afternoon.  Well, we lucked out with no lightning or thunder during the party and just a little sprinkle of rain for a couple of minutes.  June weather can be so iffy but it worked out great!
The snow cone machine was probably the biggest hit of all.  Each of the kids kept coming back for more.  Nate was awesome to run the snow cone machine the whole time.
Callie loved the snow cones too :)
My parents were so much help with Callie during the party so I could focus on Aiden and all the other kids.  It helped out a ton! She was a fan of the water and bounce houses too, and they were nice enough to walk her around and let her have fun as well.
Blue and purple mouths were from the snow cones :)
After the party, we had Aaron and Samantha and their kids over for dinner so all the kids could keep playing on the bounce houses.  They gave Aiden a fun water balloon toy and the kids had a blast with it.  They especially loved Nate and Aaron chucking the balloons across the yard at them.
Then they thought it would be funny to have the balloons thrown at their behinds...and it was too funny not to snap a picture :)

What a fun day!!
