On Tuesday we headed to Magic Kingdom! It was a day we were all really looking forward to and it turned out to be the perfect day! The weather was gorgeous. Florida in the fall is beautiful. The park was busy (but when is Disney not busy?!) but thanks to Andrew, who organized fast passes for us all and stayed on top of the ride lines, we got to ride everything we wanted to. We arrived at Magic Kingdom about 8 am...and stayed past midnight. So it was a long day but it went by so fast because we were having so much fun!
My mom ordered all the grandkids and her and my dad cute Disney shirts with their names on them. My friend Mickelle actually made the shirts and they turned out adorable.
Disney is fun anyway but Disney with your cousins is the best! I love that our kids have so many cousins their age. It makes for lots of fun!
I sure love these three!
We went on a few rides all together at first and then broke up into smaller groups here and there (mainly because Danae and I are pregnant and can't go on some of the rides). So while the bigger kids and adults went on Splash Mountain and Space Mountain and Thunder Mountain and all those rides, Danae and I took Callie and Ava to Fantasyland...and boy did those girls love it! The new Ariel Underwater Adventure ride was a hit.
We also took our girls to meet Rapunzel and Cinderella...and they loved it! The princesses each took two or three minutes with the girls and talked to them and hugged them. It was so cute! Callie is now obsessed with princesses and it is so much fun to have her entering that stage.
With the cute matching shirts, we also made time to do a little photo op by the castle. It was so fun having all these cousins together!
We attempted to get the perfect picture of the four little two-year-olds...but these were the best we got:
We also made time to greet Mickey Mouse. That's a must with little kids at Magic Kingdom.
We saw two parades - the character parade and the electric light parade. Disney knows how to put on a show and they were both incredible!
Running from ride to ride got exhausting...Callie fell asleep in the stroller a few different times that day. And by the end of the day, Brennan even fell asleep on the ground while we were stopped for a second. The kids loved all of the rides there but they say their favorite rides were Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and the Mine Train. Callie's favorite was Small World, the Ariel ride, and the highlight for her was meeting the princesses.
When it got dark, we watched the castle light up (thanks to a little show put on by Elsa). The kids were so excited to see all the lights go on.
Disney is amazing! It was an unforgettable day!

I love the Magic Kingdom! Went once in March and twice in August (in the '80s) . . . I'll take March!
