We celebrated my dad's birthday a few days late. We went to a pizza place in Provo. I think it's called Main Street Pizza. It's just like Pizza Pie Cafe but I may even like it better. It's always fun to eat out all together.
Nate and I had a date to the gym one night. I wish we could work out every day together because it's a lot more fun! We both like to workout but because of the kids and our crazy schedules I usually have to work out super early in the morning (like 6am) and Nate has to work out at night once the kids are in bed. One day it will be nice to go to the gym together. After we worked out we ate the calories back with the yummiest caramel apples.
The next night we got to go on another date to Top Golf with the Grubers and Rick & Kamilla. We ate at Culvers and then played a round at Top Golf. It's such a fun place and we loved going again.
We hosted a Superbowl party this year with all the Tadjes. There were a lot of people in our house but surprisingly everyone fit okay! It was cute to see all of these men and boys surrounding the tv :)
We all took turns being sick again. I especially feel bad for Graham when he's sick because he doesn't understand why he feels so lousy. Winter can be hard sometimes with all the sicknesses that seem to cycle around.
My cousin Emily was sealed to her new baby Addison so we went up to the temple one Saturday. It's such a sweet experience to be able to witness a sealing. Afterwards we tried to get a family picture and this sums up what it was like:
Callie was more than happy to cooperate and model for some pictures though :)
There was a luncheon afterwards and Savannah and Callie loved playing up on the stage. I love those two girls! They are such good buddies (despite fighting like sisters half of the time!)
I made a goal at the beginning of the year to read more. I love reading and needed to make time for it. I read When Breath Becomes Air and it was an interesting read. I tried reading both The Book Thief and The Zookeeper's Wife but I didn't like the way the authors wrote them so I didn't finish those. But I did finish The Nightengale and loved it! So many good books out there but it's always tricky to find the best ones and find the time to read them.
We did "Rise and Read" at the school and the kids loved getting donuts. It used to be called "Moms and Muffins" and "Dads and Donuts" but because some crazy person decided to sue the school district because that's not "politically correct," it's now just Rise and Read.
Nate and I got to go see our favorite singer perform - Secondhand Serenade! It was SO good and even better in person! We know the words to pretty much all of his songs and love them. It was such a fun date night!
Callie always wants to be a "mommy" and so she tries to do things like I do. I love it. She "nurses" her baby, cleans up, read books, exercises, makes food in the kitchen, takes care of her baby dolls, and wants to dress like me sometimes. I love it and am so happy I have my little sidekick! We had to get our picture in our black and white dresses
We're kind of ready for spring around here but the kids get excited each time it snows still. They love to play in the snow - especially Brennan. He managed to make this cute snowman with only about an inch of snow on the ground.
These pictures are just random but Graham is the best little tag-along all day every day and so pleasant. And smiley. Seriously I love him and his age.
