March happenings

Like usual, I took a lot of pictures in March and so here they are in no logical order...

Aiden competed in Battle of the Books this year.  I remember doing that when I was in elementary school so it's crazy that he's old enough for that now!  His team name was PB and Donuts and his team consisted of Aiden, Sterling, Ben, and Porter.  It was a great experience for him to read 20 books and to see what kind of knowledge and little facts he could retain from each book.  They did great and he's excited to do it again next year.
I got my hair cut and colored...all those baby hairs growing back in after having Graham were getting out of control (like it does every time after I have a baby).  Fresh color and a cut of almost 3 inches helped me feel like my hair was a little fuller again.
Graham gets into everything now. Such a busy but fun age. His favorites are the cupboards, toilets, and the dishwasher.
Nate and I try to do a lunch date at least once a week and Graham and Callie usually get to tag along. They are the cutest 3rd and 4th wheels :)
One benefit of 9am church is a nap after church...or at least trying to get a nap.  Nate is usually at the church building for an hour or two after it gets over so me and the kids usually eat lunch and then relax together.  I love it. Then when Nate gets home he joins us.
We love having a pass to Thanksgiving Point.  The kids especially love the Curiosity Museum.  Callie had fun playing vet there on this particular day so I had to snap a pic.
And Graham is now the perfect size for this baby water table.  It's the best.
Nate occasionally works in our basement and Callie decided to "work" next to him one day with her play laptop. She's always mimicking what we do and it's such a great age.
When we were shopping at Wal-Mart, Callie found this carriage for sale.  Any little girls dream!
For Brennan's birthday he got a new bike.  Shortly after he got one we realized Aiden really needed one and so did Callie.  So they got early birthday presents and everyone now has a new bike! Even Nate - he sold his old mountain bike and bought a new one too. So now we go on family bike rides whenever we have spare time and the weather is just right. And luckily there were some beautiful weather days in March this year.
Graham's pricey helmet comes in handy for something ;)
After one of our lunch dates one week, Nate and I found this amazing park in Orem called the All-Together Playground.  It's for all kids - handicapped and not, big and small.  The kids were in heaven.  We loved it so much that we went back again a few days later so Aiden and Brennan could check it out too. We went back with the Brewers but sadly Alison tripped in the uneven field and sprained her ankle really bad.
She's the best big sister - actually more like the best 2nd mommy to Graham.
So for Brennan's birthday, my parents gave him a pedometer.  Ever since Nate and I got our Fitbits, he's been obsessed with "getting steps" The first day he had it he wanted to get a ton of steps so he ran around in circles all before school, ran a bunch at recess, and then came home from school and played outside all evening and he ended the day with 23,000.  A few days after that he got up to 27,000 steps.  He usually doesn't get that many but he easily gets more than me and Nate each day and we usually get about 10,000-12,000. He is one active little guy!
When we were on a walk one day, I snapped some pictures of Graham.  He's such a dream baby!  He's happy and smiley and he is the best sleeper now!  He sleeps through the night finally and he takes 2 long naps a day.  And he's always learning new tricks.  I love this age and don't want him to grow up!
Then we headed to the park and my kids played in the swings forever.  They love swings.  Especially Callie.  It's her favorite thing at the park.  My boys were never like that so I wonder if it's a girl thing?!
I saw this report outside Brennan's classroom one day.  The kids read a book about an animal and wrote up some facts they learned.  Brennan's was all about mating. Haha! When we asked him if he knew what mating was he said no, he just copied the book!  You bet that went in his box to save.
Aiden finished out his basketball season.  He really improved this year and it was fun to watch him play!  He sure LOVES basketball!
These boys unintentionally matched one day so I snapped their picture. Brennan's pose though...not sure about that :)
I ordered some new shoes and Callie already had some that matched...she loves when we match and I love twinning with her too! I love having a little girl...she is so much fun!
Callie, Graham, and I headed up to Discovery Gateway to meet Brennan on his field trip.  We had fun spending time with him and playing up there. He stuck with Briggs the entire time and they ran from one thing to another and sure kept busy. It's such an awesome museum! We go to the Curiosity museum a lot because we have a pass so it was really fun to go somewhere new.
I bought a new sun hat and Callie loved playing dress up in it. And she loves trying on my high heels.
She loved her new Anna dress and I found her mopping the bathroom one day while wearing it.  I couldn't help but think she looked more like Cinderella :)
I got to tag along on Aiden's field trip up to the Salt Lake library.  We took Frontrunner and then Trax and then walked through the library for a bit and then got back on Trax and then Frontrunner again and headed home. It was a good field trip to teach the kids how to use public transportation.  I loved spending time with Aiden. He is such a great kid!
My group consisted of just Aiden and Porter so it was definitely the easiest chaperoning experience I've ever had!
I did my last co-op preschool turn in March and we did a fairy tale day.  The girls loved dressing up like princesses for it...but Tagg - not so much. Haha.

Other things we did during the month - the annual Irish dinner at Grandma Blackham's, the kids went on a date to see the play the Wizard of Oz with grandma and grandpa (Nate and Graham and I went out for our own little date while they were gone), I joined the ward choir finally (I'm so excited to be singing again!), Graham finished using the helmet for good (yay!!), I went to the Relief Society birthday party, the boys and Callie had lots of play dates with friends, and I went to the Womens Conference and out to dinner with my mom and Becca and Rayane. It was a great month!
