Christmas Day was magical this year. The main Christmas gift we gave our kids was a trip to California and they were super excited about it! We wrapped up two huge boxes with some pretend Disneyland tickets and Universal Studios tickets and filled it up with balloons. So the kids first got to open the big boxes and the balloons all came out and they found the tickets. Then the kids got to open their gifts. Aiden got some legos, a new basketball, a wand, some books, and a BYU hat. Brennan got a fitbit, an aerobie, a wand, some books, and a BYU hat too. Callie got some princess books, a fake makeup set, a jewelry making kit, and clothes. Graham got a little Mickey Mouse basketball set, some paw patrol vehicles, and an animal book. Nate got a new brief case and some clothes. I got some new shoes (clogs from London I was very excited about) and a Disney puzzle. And we got some games from Andrew & Melanie who had our name and some games from the Brewers.
We were lucky that we got a White Christmas. There wasn't a ton of snow but there was enough to go sledding. So after eating our traditional Christmas morning breakfast we went sledding for a bit and had a blast!
After sledding we headed to grandpa and grandma's house for some more Christmas fun. We all opened up some more gifts (including a wagon and toys and clothes for each of the kids) and we spent the evening with my side of the family. It was such a great day and we feel so blessed to have so many loving people in our lives!
