Big June 2019

We've loved having a pass to the zoo.  We met up with Samantha and her kids at the zoo one day and had a great time with them! We miss living so close to them and it's always fun to spend time all together.
I watched my friend Katie's kids for a few days and the kids loved having their friends with them 24/7/. Aiden and Kai are great friends, Brennan and Eli are great friends, and they have a Kali the same age as our Callie and they are awesome friends too! They also have a 12-year-old girl that loves Graham so it was super easy watching them for a few days! We went swimming one day, went to the park, and hung out at home most of the time.
I love when I walk in and see all of our kids playing and getting along perfectly! They love to build "cities" in Graham's room with all of his toys.
We celebrated Callie turning SIX as I previously posted about.  Oh, how I love that cute girl!
I planted strawberries in April and in June we got our first red strawberry!  I love watching the fruits of my labor!
My parents came over one night to celebrate all of our June birthdays.  These kids were sure excited to spend time with G&G and get their birthday presents!
For Graham's birthday, my parents gave him a little toy "FurReal" dog and Callie loved it just as much as Graham.  So for her birthday, my parents gave her a rainbow unicorn one :)
My parents know just what to get Aiden too :)
This summer Graham has given up formal naptime.  So this is what happens nearly every day around 4 or 5pm...
When he's so tired, he will fall asleep anywhere.
I found a fun park and splash pad in South Ogden with the two youngest kids while Nate and the big boys were camping with the Deacons.  So I decided to go back with all four kids and they had a great time there.
Aiden turned 11...which I posted about previously.  He's such an amazing kid and we had a blast celebrating him!
We've been trying to explore some fun places up by our new house so one day we went to the Dino Park in Ogden.  My friend Katie and her kids met us there and we had a great day all together!
We celebrated Nate turning 34!  The day before his birthday we celebrated Fathers Day and his birthday.  We are so grateful for him and all he does for our family!
Nate's kind of cake...a candy cake!
On the night of his birthday, we headed to Toole to ride the go-karts at K-1 Speed.  The Brewers and A&S Tadjes met us there and it was such a fun night!  The boys are especially fast and very competitive with each other!  It was such a fun date night!
We met up with my friend Crystal and her girls one day and went to the Riverdale Splash pad.  I love that she lives up north too and we always have fun when we get together.
Jaxson came home from his mission! It was so fun to go to the airport and witness him walking down the escalator.  It made me realize just how fast life goes and in 7 years we'll be sending a missionary off!
My mom came up to our house one day and we checked out the Treehouse Museum in Ogden.  My kids LOVED it! It's not as commercialized as Thanksgiving Point and the kids are really able to learn and use their imaginations there. They loved it so much that at the end I decided to buy a season pass so we could enjoy it again and again. I took lots of pictures so warning of a picture overload :)
The museum has a mini city with a store and fire station and police station and hospital and restaurant and the kids loved playing make-believe there.
They also have a section with lots of different counties.  There are dress-ups and books and activities in each "country."
The "hospital" has lots of baby dolls to take care of and Callie and Graham loved playing in that little nursery.
The Oval Office was a hit too :) Aiden especially loved reading all of the history facts in that section.
Aiden and Brennan loved playing the big chess board.  They lasted a good 45-minutes playing before it was time to go.
The Art Station was a hit too.
Nate got a hammock stand for his birthday and it's been a fun addition to our backyard.
We had a Blackham dinner at my grandma's and took the annual Blackham family photo in my grandma's backyard. Always a fun time with family!
A lot of my free time has been trying to get our yard looking better.  We took out a bunch of old bushes when we moved in and we are slowly trying to fill in the space.  We have a big area to plant so I've researched and tried to find some great perennials to plant in our yard.
The raspberry starts in our backyard...
 The strawberries...
My first vegetable garden! I can't wait to start harvesting in a few months!
We met up with Crystal and her girls another day and went to SeaQuest.  It was our first time there and it was really cool!  It's crazy you can pet so many of the animals there (the iguanas and tortoise, and sea life)
We had fun feeding the birds!  It felt so weird to hold bird feed in our hands and have tons of birds fly to eat and nibble it right up.
The birds scared Graham pretty bad!
And we got to hold a snake!  So cool!
We got a special tour of the Tabernacle and the place where the MOTAB practices.  Perks of having your mom in the MOTAB.
We had a big group there with my aunts and cousins and grandma!
Afterwards we went with Andrew and Melanie and their kids to the City Creek Food Court and had a fun night hanging out with them.
A few other June happenings:
- Aiden and Brennan went to a basketball camp at Northridge and really enjoyed it.
- Half of my Bunco friends are pregnant so we had a big baby shower for them all.
- We had a big Tadje birthday dinner at Diane's clubhouse and it was fun to get together with all of the Tadjes.
