Besides our fun birthday celebrations, here are more June happenings:
Warmer weather meant more hiking days! Love our neighborhood hiking group!
I'm so awkward in solo pictures so Jessica was trying to make me look more natural ;)
My parents took us all to Cedar Hills days and we had a blast! We love the small town feel of the games and activities there. The older boys had basketball camp that same week so I was driving them back and forth from camp to the carnival. They played as hard as they could with the time they had. My parents took the kids to the late night movie one night and had them sleepover for the parade the next morning. It's a fun tradition we've done for many summers.
We had some beautiful nights with cotton candy skies! We love where we live!
We did a double date with the Brewers and went to dinner and then hiked to the Suspension Bridge in Draper. It was a cool short hike that I want to take the kids on soon!
I posted about Aiden's birthday already, but the next morning while he was sorting through his presents and money from his friends, he counted up his candy and had a lot! That's the way to Aiden's heart!
Brennan made a birthday cake all by himself for the June birthdays (Callie, Aiden, and Nate). We celebrated their birthdays at my parents' house one Sunday.
Aiden's friend Max couldn't come to his party so we invited Max to come down and spend the day with Aiden. We went swimming and went out for ice cream and the boys had a blast being back together!
Our neighbors and friends the Winklemans have a pool so they've invited us over a few times this summer to swim and it's been so fun to hang out! Cooper and Graham are cute little buddies.
Nate turned 36!! To celebrate his birthday, all he wanted to do was go up in the mountains as a family so we were happy to oblige! We had a blast up AF canyon and we explored Silver Lake and this amazing trail above Silver Lake. It was the most beautiful night! I love our Utah mountains!
7-11 runs for Slurpees:
Now that we're Lehi residents, we were excited to experience our first Lehi rodeo and it didn't disappoint! It was such a fun night with the Brewers and my parents!
The temples are slowly opening again and I was lucky to get an appointment to go! This past year and a half has been so unique and having the temples open gave me hope that this will end soon!
Nate and the older boys planned a Father/Sons camp trip with Brewers and Aaron and his boys. They headed down to the Manti area and stayed at a beautiful campsite in those mountains. They had a blast and did so many things in the couple of days they were there! They rode our side by side and Aaron's tote goat, built fires (before the ranger told them fires were no longer allowed because of the drought), played games (including learning how to play Poker), went kayaking, skipped rocks, hung out in our new hammocks, tried keeping warm at night, and hiked to this cool hole in the rock.
They loved their adventure and want to make it a new yearly tradition! While they were gone, the little kids and I went swimming with Samantha and Ali and girls, went to Airborne, went to the Lehi parade, and had a sleepover with Becca.
Also during the month: more swimming, lots of playdates, piano recital, basketball camp, Moyle park with grandma and cousins, Lagoon for Aiden, sleepover with Becca, and This is the Place Monument.
