We started off October with Conference. We always love this weekend! Kids get a little stir crazy sitting and listening for 10 hours so this is what it started looking like at our house :)
We did a fun word game during Conference where we labeled bowls of snacks with various gospel words and if the kids heard that word during Conference they got to take the treat in the bowl. It was a good hit and it helped them listen pretty well!
This was Grandma's last General Conference! It's been so fun to watch her sing on tv the last six years!
Between sessions on Sunday we met up with the Blackham family for our annual omelets in the canyon brunch. It was a beautiful day and it was fun to see the leaves changing up there.
Tyler wanted to join our family picture and we didn't complain :)
Graham learned how to ride a 2-wheeler! He has been hesitate to try but we finally convinced him and he caught on so fast!
We went to Hee Haws for a customer appreciation night for our mortgage company and had a fun time! Kids won caramel apples and got donuts and cider and played around for a bit. We've been coming here for years and it's always a highlight in the fall.
School Pics came back and they turned out great! Love these four kiddos so much!
I tagged along on Graham's Kindergarten field trip to Jaker's Pumpkin Patch and we had a lot of fun! It was a colder and wet day but luckily it didn't rain too hard while we were outside.
Aiden had a late night with some friends and they watched Quiet Place 2 and played some football at Willowcreek.
I finished harvesting my garden! It didn't do amazing this year but it did ok. I'm looking forward to working on it again next year. I finally dug up all of the carrots and there were some HUGE ones! Kinda fun to see just how big.
We went to Cornbellies with Steve & Rayane and kids to celebrate Tyler's birthday.
We carved pumpkins one night when Grandma Tadje was over and had a great time. Our kids are all a little OCD and don't love to be dirty so it was kind of funny to watch the kids cleaning out the guts in the pumpkins because it wasn't their favorite. The boys carved BYU themed pumpkins (of course) and Callie and Graham did adorable pumpkin faces.
Brennan's team played in the 6th grade flag football Superbowl and won again! They've been undefeated for two years now and keep going strong! It's so fun watching his team play because they're all so talented! Brennan plays running back and wide receiver and always does an amazing job!
Halloween! We had a wonderful Halloween season! Graham was a dragon, Callie was an angel, Brennan was a BYU football player (again!), and Aiden was a crazy BYU fan. And yes, this is the fifth year Brennan has been a BYU football player. I told him this year that he could buy any new costume because his BYU football costume was so small but he didn't want to be anything but a BYU football player again! So I bought him a new jersey and once again he was a BYU football player. The other day I searched all of his past Halloweens and it's pretty fun to see the same costume but Brennan get bigger and bigger each year :)
We celebrated Halloween on the 30th because of Halloween was on a Sunday this week. My parents and Steve & Rayane's family and Becca came over to trick or treat in our neighhorhood and have a little party at our house. Steve showed up in this:
He's always keeping us on our toes! ;) He even walked around my neighborhood like that with no fear!
The kids had a fun night all together and got WAY too much candy!
There was the most beautiful sunset that night.
Aiden got to go to the BYU game late that night with Kason and Rick Gardner.
