February 2023

Random pictures from February:

101 Day at school - Graham made a really cute dalmatian ;)
The cold weather outside always make me want to spend time in the kitchen baking and learning new recipes. I expanded my sourdough repertoire over the month and learned to make sourdough focaccia, sourdough bagels, and pizza crust. I love sourdough breads instead of yeast breads and am excited to keep learning and trying new things.
We had a family dinner with the Tadje family and Callie and Ella loved holding Josh and Amanda's sweet little twins - Sophia and Chloe.
Basketball was in full swing. I failed at taking videos and pictures of the kids playing but they all played basketball. Aiden's team lost every game but they had a great attitude about it. Brennan played Bantam and Junior Jazz and Callie did Junior Jazz as well (Graham's Junior Jazz ended in December).
We participated in a fun progressive dinner with couples in our ward. Jenny Lynn always puts on the best parties! We hosted appetizers at our house and had our main dish at the Watkins. Then we all met up at the church for dessert and bunco. Such a fun night!
Sickness visited the majority of us over the month. 'Tis the season! Brennan stayed home from school sick one day but he felt good enough to play the Occulus and the Switch ;) I found him like this when he was supposed to be resting...
There was no school on a random Friday in February so we headed to Fat Cats to have some fun. My parents had given us a gift card there for Valentine's Day and it was a perfect spot to hang out on a cold day without school.
Ella spent the day with us and the girls played "restaurant" and made us some yummy snacks and drinks for us. They enjoyed eating their food too.
We showed up to Sunday dinner at my parents house and Graham and James were wearing the same exact shirt AND sweats! It was so funny! I had no idea James had the same clothes as Graham and so funny they both decided to wear them the same day. Rayane works at Nike right now and thanks to her we all have an awesome discount! Love these cute cousins!
There was SO MUCH SNOW during the month! The kids had a snow day because the snow was so high and it was icy and windy outside. It was snowy for days! We had been praying for moisture for a long time and our prayers were definitely heard.
The snow day was technically an "at home" learning day, meaning it kids had all their school work online. It was cute to walk down the stairs and see these kids all lined up on the couch on different laptops working on schoolwork.
It was so cold and wet outside...this is how Aiden was dressed to head out to shovel the driveway.
SO MUCH SNOW! It took these guys over 2 hours to shovel just our driveway. They were troopers. Love seeing these boys work hard!
Brennan made a cool snow fort. He loves playing and building in the snow.
Another day we received a lot of snow, I pulled in the driveway from the gym to find Brennan shoveling the driveway and sidewalks without being asked!! Made my mama heart very happy!
I went to a favorite things party with some neighborhood friends and it was so much fun! Everyone shared 5 of their favorite things from 2022 and I loved learning and seeing some tried and true stuff - books, beauty products, podcasts, stores, ideas, etc. Love my neighborhood and my friends here!
Not sure why I took this picture but it's my favorite. Graham is the happiest, funnest kid! How can I freeze time cause I don't want him to keep getting older?!
Aiden drove Nate's car for the first time and he did awesome! It's hard to believe he'll be getting his permit in just a few months. He needs to stop growing up too!
