Brennan played tennis in the spring with his friend Crew. They had a fun time being partners all season.
Aiden worked hard doing track through Willowcreek. It's been fun to see him progress in running over the last couple of years.
Random picture of the two littles before school :)
My mom and I went to Women's Conference for a couple of days. It was a treat to attend classes and learn how to be a better disciple of Christ. And I loved spending time with my mom! Her good friend Carma joined us for part of it and I ran into my old roommate April which was so fun!
Aiden went to the 9th grade night dance. How is he this old?!
I took this picture as they were walking over to the school ;)
Cinco de Mayo party hosted by the best host - Jennylynn. I love that Jennylynn brings people together and we always have a blast at her parties!
Her balloon skills are amazing!
Callie and I had a girl's night - chick flick and face masks. She loves all things girly!
On top of dance and tumbling, Callie did track in the spring too. She's so fast! Running isn't her favorite thing but she is a natural runner.
I subbed for Graham's first grade class for an entire week in May!! It was exhuasting! Not sure how teachers do it week after week. It was fun to be with Graham during the day but it definitely wore me out :) That same week, I also helped with the school carnival. I was in charge of the sweets shop candy. Luckily, I recruited some cute kids to help me label everything.
And Nate was kind enough to help too!
Brennan was able to job shadow Nate for a day. He was spoiled and loved getting to play a little basketball and eat treats at "work" :)
Spring means lots of flag football! Graham and Brennan both played and did awesome! I love watching them play flag football and cheering them on.
I was spoiled for Mother's Day! When I was little all I wanted was to be a mom and here I am living what I always wanted. Love these kids so much! I feel so blessed to raise these kids alongside such a supportive and loving husband!
For Mother's Day, I wanted some pictures with the kids.
We spent the evening celebrating my amazing mom!
Mother's Day always means that it's time to plant! I love working on my yard and beautifying our house. I was really excited with how these planters turned out.
I took out some of the bushes in our front yard and planted boxwoods instead. We also got cement curbing.
Aiden was invited to the awards night at school and got recognized for his hard work throughout junior high.
Callie and I have a tradition to see her dance performance the night before she's in it. There are four casts at her studio and Callie was in cast D of the performance so we went to see another cast perform. We always go out to eat and make it a fun girls night.
Saturday night was Callie's turn to perform! They put on the production of All the World. Callie did amazing and shined on stage! We love seeing her hard work pay off!
We planted some new trees in our backyard in hopes that one day we have shade...that one day may be in 20 years, haha. We planted two Ruby Sunset Maples and one Gingko tree.
We got to help with the Saratoga Springs temple open house. It was such a neat experience! Nate and I were speaking ushers in the entrance of the temple. Aiden helped with parking and Brennan helped take off the shoe covers. We're so excited to have this temple so close now!
We went to see the Little Mermaid live action film. It was SO good! It was my favorite Disney movie when I was little. The live action movie was so well done and felt really nostalgic.
We visited Dave's grave with our Tadje cousins. We miss him and look forward to being reunited one day!
On Memorial Day, we went to Lake Mountain with our friends and neighbors, the Coons. We loved exploring all over and driving to Little Moab and to the Nutty Putty caves.
We went to a pool party at the Wood's house that night with more friends and neighbors. I'm so grateful for the friendships we have with our neighbors. I seriously love our neighborhood so much!
Aiden and Nate went on a hike with the Teachers Quorum. I love that Nate is one of Aiden's leaders!
I was SO excited to see Hello Dolly at the Hale because I was in it way back in 10th grade. The music and storyline brought me back to high school and all of the fun we had in that show. My friends Sheridan, Kim, and Carolyn came with me to the show and we had the best night!
Flashback picture from when I was in it :)
