5 days old now

We have had such a fun time with Aiden. He is constantly making funny faces and we love sitting there and just watching him. The first few nights he was up for the majority of the night, but last night he only woke up once for a feeding and a blow-out diaper change...so Nate and I both got a lot of sleep. It was so nice! I think I got 4 hours consecutively which I have not had for a few days now. Aiden is a really good eater. If anything gets close to his mouth he tries to eat it. When he's really hungry he shakes his head back and forth trying to suck something. It's so cute. I'm happy he has been a good eater. He loves his swing. When he's awake he is content to just sit in it. Also, the pacifier has been a life-saver. When he's upset when we're changing his diaper we try to keep his pacifier in his mouth and he calms down. He loves the hammock he sleeps in too. For bed time, we tuck him in a ton of blankets and place him in the hammock and he loves it. Thanks Erik and Amie for letting us borrow that! It's so fun to watch him sleep too. When he's dreaming, he occasionally does this little twitch grin. We caught it on camera...so I put it on here.
