Waiting and waiting...

I quit work one week ago today and I have just been taking it easy before our baby arrives. The due date is exactly one week from today, woohoo! I have never had this much time on my hands before. Usually it seems like school or work is keeping me busy. I have had a job since I was sixteen years old so it's weird to no longer be working right now. I have been incredibly tired lately, so I sleep about 10 hours a night. But when I'm awake, I try to keep myself as busy as possible...I'm not one to sit around and watch TV (except I do watch A Baby Story everyday because it gets me so excited). Each day I have been home while Nate is at work, I have cleaned our house spotless (there's no more cleaning I can really do now). I'm "nesting" as people would say. Yesterday I made cookies, cleaned everything I could think of, wrote a bunch of thank you notes, did yoga for an hour and a half, did all of the laundry, made Nate and I a picnic for dinner, watched A Baby Story, read half of a book about newborns, but then I had nothing else to do. I had a whole check-list to do at the beginning of the summer and I have already completed everything on it. I am just waiting until Aiden arrives...then I'll be super busy. I'm so excited for that! I really hope he doesn't decide to come late! I just want him here. Every time I watch A Baby Story I almost start crying when the baby comes out because I am so excited for the moment we get to meet Aiden. Lol. Pregnancy hormones...that's what I will blame it on. I am excited for tomorrow though because I'm getting my hair done. That will break up my day of cleaning the house spotless once again :)

Sarah, the Baby Story crying is not pregnancy hormones... I do that to, but I will say it was MUCH worse while I was pregnant. I don't know why, I think you can't help it when you see such a special moment - even if it is some else's moment that you don't know. I understand.

As for boredom, you can nest over at my house, it is in serious need of a deep cleaning! No really, come visit, do you have a car? If not I will come pick you up. I am potty training Emma so I have been staying home most of this week and last, to be near a potty. I promise I won't make you clean! Call me.

Hang in there, Sarah! It will all be worth it in only a few days... =)

I can't believe your due date is in a week! Little Aiden could come any day now huh? That's crazy. I hope all goes well for you this week and that Aiden comes a bit early. I can't wait to see pictures!
