with grandpa and grandma and Camryn. My parents took the two kiddies on a date - which included a ride on TRAX (or choo choo as they call it) to Gateway and dinner at McDonalds. The perfect date for 2 little 2-year-olds.
When I told Aiden he was going on Trax with my parents and said it was like a train, he immediately pulled out his "choo choo" hat and "choo choo" whistle. He was literally spinning in circles from excitement while he waited for my parents to pick him up :)
My parents told us that both kids were fascinated with everything and everyone on Trax. The kids just stared out the window in amazement.
While Aiden was gone, Nate and I got to go out on a date! We love our date nights. We took Brennan along too, but he's easy to handle cause he's not mobile yet :) We went to Color Me Mine to paint a piggy bank (or technically a car bank) for Brennan. Nate painted a piggy bank for Aiden when he was little so we thought it was only fair to make one for Brennan too.
Thanks grandma & grandpa for taking Aiden on his first date (and allowing us a date night too)! He hasn't stopped talking about it since!
