easter 2011

I'll just start off by saying how much I LOVE holidays now that Nate and I have two little munchkins to celebrate with.  And Aiden (being almost 3) is at the perfect age to soak up everything about each one.  After meeting the Easter Bunny with grandma and grandpa Tadje a couple weekends ago AND after our Easter lesson for family night, he talked about it ALL week long.  So, needless to say, when the day actually arrived, he was excited.

Aiden is at the perfect age to be my little helper.  He loved being my assistant in coloring the eggs and decorating them (with Toy Story stickers of course).
Here's what the Easter Bunny delivered: a new back pack for each (Aiden thinks both the alligator and Brennan's frog backpack are for him), two dvds, and a spin brush to go along with way too much candy. He/she (whatever the Easter bunny is) sure didn't disappoint!
After church we spent the day at my parent's house.  There was a fun Easter egg hunt where A & B got even more candy and more spoiled. Aiden had fun playing with Camryn outside.  They pretty much ran around and ate candy the entire time.
And of course, every Easter we take an updated family picture in our Easter attire.  So here it is for 2011.
And we took a few pics of our handsome little guys too.
I am so grateful for the real meaning of Easter - Jesus Christ.  We are so lucky to have the knowledge of the Atonement and Resurrection.  It was a great day to remember all He did for us. Hope everyone had a happy Easter too!
