Jane Austen marathon

This past week Brennan was really sick.  All he would do was lay on my shoulder, suck on his Binky, and squirm around trying to get comfortable.  Poor guy! We finally went to the doctor at the end of the week because he wasn't getting any better and he had a double ear infection!  Neither one of my kids has ever had one of those and they are the worst!  Luckily, it was Spring Break for my mom and sister so they got to hang out with me and keep me company when I was quarantined at home.  So how did we pass the time?

Watching...
  and...
and...
Yes, that is a lot of time (6 hours + 4 hours + 2 1/2 hours) but we loved it!  The funny thing is that it was Becca's idea to watch them.  Who would've thought my basketball/lacrosse playing sister would be a Jane Austen fan?  My favorite between the three is Pride and Prejudice I think but it's a close tie.  I'm so glad my mom and sister could help me out through such a long week.  While we were watching Sense & Sensibility, my mom even folded all my laundry and held Brennan so I could have a break, which was much needed (thanks mom!)

Next up: Persuasion.  The three of us have never even seen it so I hope Jane Austen doesn't disappoint!

How fun! I recently did this with my mom and Anne of Green Gables. Haha. Gotta love being a woman. =)

I could not think of a better way to spend down time. Those movies are always on my list when I am home being sick - I also include Anne of Green Gables - just like Danae.

That's the best kind of movie marathon! We Graf girls are in love with Jane Austen and BBC movies, too. They never disappoint!
