Our first big stop in Florida was to the happiest place on earth. Saying the kids were excited to go to "Mickey's house" is a HUGE understatement.
The whole atmosphere at Disney is amazing. The boys love the show Mickey Mouse Clubhouse so seeing all the characters in person was truly magical for them.
Aiden wasn't scared of meeting them at all and just walked right up and hugged each one. Brennan was a little more apprehensive but as long as he was in our arms he was fine.
Meeting Mickey and Minnie was definitely the highlight.
It was so fun taking Aiden on Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain and all of the Disney World classics. It was funny because Aiden would get nervous on some of the bigger rides, but after the ride was over, he would try to act so tough and say how awesome the ride was and how big he is now. But when we would ask him if he wanted to go again, he would say NO way!
Aiden's favorite ride was Dumbo. Luckily the hour long wait for it eventually died down and we got to take a turn.
We wrapped up the night watching the light parade which was incredible. Disney sure knows how to do things right!
At the end of the day we were all beat, but it was so worth it! The boys loved their first trip to Disney World and Aiden's already talking about the next time we go!
