The boys were super excited for Santa to come this year. After setting cookies and milk out for Santa, they played in their room for almost 3 hours before they fell asleep! Aiden kept hearing Santa's sleigh outside and asking if he was in the living room, but the boys finally fell asleep and Santa came. The next morning they were SO excited to see what Santa had brought them.
And Santa did not disappoint this year. All month long, Aiden kept talking about the fire truck Santa was going to bring him (the one with the really tall ladder, opening doors, and the one just like Spencer's). The boys are at SUCH fun ages for Christmas. But more important than that, this year Aiden finally grasped the reason why we celebrate Christmas - that it is not for Santa but that we celebrate Jesus' birth.
The boys got lots of toys, books, movies, and things - and we're still trying to find places to store everything! It was a fun morning watching them open their gifts.
We headed to church afterwards all dressed up in our Christmas attire...
And then we hopped all around the rest of the day spending time with my parents, Nate's parents, and both of my grandmas and extended families in Salt Lake. It made for a busy day but we loved being with our families.
Another amazing (but busy) Christmas! Hope your Christmas was merry too!
