Christmas parties

{Curtis Family Party}
My grandma Curtis hosts a big Christmas party every year with all of our extended family on my dad's side.  And we always do it at a church building because our family is too big to fit anywhere else.  This year we got to enjoy a delicious dinner, a puppet nativity (thanks to my mom), and a gift exchange.  We had a great time!  Sadly, I forgot my camera so phone pics will have to do.
 Aiden was VERY excited about the gift exchange :)
 This year the party was extra special too.  A few months ago my grandma found out she has cancer, and although she does not feel her best, we were so happy to spend time some quality time with her during the Christmas season.  She is an amazing example to all of us.

{Christmas Eve with Tadjes}
After eating Chinese food for lunch with the Blackham side of the family (another annual tradition), we headed to the Tadje's to enjoy some delicious ham, potatoes, rolls, and all of the yummy Christmas staples.  Nate's mom set up a fun fishing game for the kids to "fish" for their presents and then we all opened our "warm & fuzzies".
Aiden was SO excited as he opened up his new fire truck pajamas...he lit up when he saw what they were :)
It was such a fun night!
