shakespeare festival 2013

We just got back from our annual girl's trip down to Cedar City for the Shakespeare Festival.  Once again, this year did not disappoint!  It was so fun spending a few days with my mom and some of my other girl relatives.  We spent our time shopping, eating out, swimming at the hotel, going to the park, watching the greenshow, and each seeing a play. The weather was a little rainy and overcast, but we didn't let that stop us. This year I saw Anything Goes. I didn't know anything about it before I saw it but I thoroughly enjoyed it.  I was a little nervous leaving Callie for 3 hours during the show because she nurses every 3 hours on the dot (and doesn't take a bottle yet) but luckily she slept the entire time.  I'm so grateful my mom watched all three kids so I could enjoy a show this year!

Aiden and Brennan LOVED the greenshow and it was fun seeing their little eyes glued to the stage the entire time.  They both started dancing at one point and it was the cutest thing!  I wish I filmed their awesome dance moves.  And Callie got SO much attention every where we went.  A lot of people would say "what a cute girl!" and "she is so tiny! how old is she?" and "she is the sweetest baby" (except that one rude lady lecturing me on taking my 5 week old baby on a trip). But it was fun having Callie there this year too...even if she had no idea what was going on :) I'm sure Callie will be going on this girls trip with us for many years to come.
I love this traditon!  I love hanging out with my mom for three days straight.  You would think after three days my mom and I would start running out of things to say but that is definitely not the case!  We could talk for hours and never tire of it.  I'm so glad we got to go again this year!

What a fun tradition. I will have to venture out to the festival one of these days...i've never been.
