Erik & Amie & their kids go up to Snowbird for a week every summer and this year they invited us to go up on Friday and stay over for a night. Aaron & Samantha & their kids went up too and we had a wonderful time hanging out with some of the Tadje family! After settling in and eating dinner on Friday, we walked to the look-out spot at Snowbird and the scenery was gorgeous! We even spotted a moose. There are so many fun things to do at Snowbird that I told Nate we should go up just the two of us sometime so we could do the zip-line and some of the other fun activities up there. After we all walked around Snowbird for a while, we went back to the condo and turned a movie on for the little kids upstairs so the adults and older kids could play the game Quelf which turned out to be quite hilarious.
After staying up way too late on Friday, we woke up the next day, packed up, and headed out for a hike to Cecret Lake. The hike was SO pretty! It was the perfect way to spend a Saturday morning. We are so lucky to live so close to these beautiful mountains!
(Nate was popular up there with the kids because of his big candy stash...of course)
