Callie at 4 months

I can't believe our little girl is already four months!  She has brought such a sweet little spirit into our home and I have LOVED these past four months!  I have enjoyed this newborn stage so much this time around because I know it doesn't last long and kids grow up way too fast.  She seriously is our little angel girl and we are all pretty obsessed with her around here! Here are some facts about Callie at four months:

- She sleeps great at night.  She is in her own room now. We put her to bed at 9 or 9:30pm and she sleeps until 6 or 6:30am, then wakes for a quick feeding, then falls back to sleep until about 7:30 or 8am.  She usually just takes 3 or 4 short 45 minute naps during the day and hopefully we can get on a more regular nap schedule soon.

- She nurses like a champ.  She has become quite the butter-ball so some people ask if I'm feeding her cream, but I love that she is big and healthy. She doesn't take a bottle so it is good I like nursing because I doubt Callie will be stopping anytime soon.

- She is super smiley!  Her entire face lights up when she smiles and it always melts our hearts.  And a few weeks ago she started laughing which has been fun.

- She enjoys gripping onto little toys and sucking on them.

- She is a little talker now.  It is so sweet to hear her coo and make little baby noises.

- She loves her night-time baths.  

- She loves sitting in the umbrella stroller when we are outside.  She is in that often when we take the boys to school and when I'm watching them play in the front yard so I'm glad she likes it.

- She loves being held...but she has be to held facing out.  

- She spits up...a lot.  We have burp cloths scattered all over the house because we need them constantly. It's amazing that she is still gaining so much weight with all her spitting up.

- When it's time for a nap or for bedtime, we swaddle her, rock her, and sing to her.  She loves it and I love snuggling with her too.

We sure love our sweet Callie girl!!
