I haven't kept up this blog as much as I'd like to recently. So I figured I'd throw in a bunch of our recent pictures into one long post and finally be caught up. So here goes:
Pumpkinland
We went with Brennan's preschool on a fun field trip to Pumpkinland. It was perfect weather and we had a great time walking through the corn maze, playing on the playground, and having a little picnic. The pumpkin patch is a must every fall.
Super Saturday
With taking care of our 3 kids and the house and all the other usual "mom" things, I don't find a lot of time to craft. But a few weeks ago, I got to go to two Super Saturdays (my mom's ward and my own ward) in one day and it felt good to work on a few projects.
Ellen's Shower
My mom and I went to my cousin Ellen's baby shower and got to meet her new little guy Ted. He came 7 weeks early and is still only 4 pounds but he is the cutest little guy! When we laid the two babies next to each other, my cousin Jenny said, "Does this baby make me look fat?!" Callie looked so huge next to him but I'm sure he will catch up fast!
Solid Foods
Callie tried rice cereal and applesauce for the first time the other day and she is not a fan. We've tried to feed her a few times recently and she just spits everything back out. She is sure opinionated when it comes to her food! She is a champion when it comes to nursing which is great - but she refuses a bottle and solid foods. I'm sure one day she will branch out but that day doesn't seem like it will come any time soon.
Even if she doesn't like the rice cereal, she sure looks adorable sitting up in the high chair!
Baby Quilt
Nate's mom just finished Callie's baby quilt and it turned out beautiful!! My mom made her a gorgeous pinwheel quilt with matching bumper pads and pillow and now Callie has another beautiful one to go in her room. I love having a mom and a mother-in-law that quilt!
Playing outside
The past few weeks the weather has been so beautiful and since we know it won't last long, we have been taking every opportunity to go on walks, play at the park, and spend as much time outside as possible.
This last picture was taken at Adventure Learning Park on one of our evening walks as a family and it was so beautiful! I love this time of year!
