For Christmas, my parents gave Nate, my two older brothers, and my dad each a ticket to the BYU Bowl game in San Fransisco. Nate loves BYU and he hadn't been to San Francisco for a long time so he was super excited about it. The day after Christmas, they all flew to California and the four guys began their trip. They spent their time walking through China Town, walking (for miles) all over the city, visiting Fisherman's Wharf, going to Alcatraz, and of course going to the BYU game.
Nate had such a great time! I'm SO happy he got to go and enjoy a little getaway (even if BYU lost)!
While the guys were away, the kids and I hung out with my mom and Danae pretty much all day every day. We had a fun outing to the dino museum and out to lunch one of the days. And we also spent a lot of time just hanging out at my parent's house while the kids played and we talked. We can talk all day long and never run out of things to talk about :)
And, of course, we did an impromptu photo shoot of Callie and Ava cause they are just so cute together! My mom bought all 6 of her grand-daughters matching dresses for Christmas and Callie and Ava looked like little twins! Melanie and Rayane sent pics of their beautiful little girls in their matching dresses too. Hopefully one of these days all 4 of these little girl cousins can all be together at the same time!
(Getting both babies to smile at the camera was of course impossible...they were more interested in ripping each other's headbands off!)
