February happenings

February came and went quick! Here are some random pictures from the month:

We went on a fun preschool field trip to the fire station. These boys loved getting to see the trucks and ambulances up close.
Aiden and Brennan enjoy being my little helpers in the kitchen...especially eating the stuff we make.
Their favorite is licking the beaters after making cookies.  As the pictures show, Brennan was great about sharing at first but then decided to hog it all to himself and Aiden was not too happy about it. Usually these two are best buddies but like all brothers they definitely have their moments of not getting along so well.
Brennan is a little clown.  His neighborhood friends always egg him on to be silly and so he is always finding random things to do or say or wear to get a laugh. The life jacket in the middle of the winter sure was original.
Aiden's reading has really taken off!  His kindergarten teacher keeps jumping him up reading levels for the take home library and he does great with the harder levels. It really is amazing to see his progess.  We are so proud of him.
My mom is now in the MOTAB!  She never even told us that she was interested in being in it or that she had tried out for it so we were surprised when she told us she made it but we are so excited for her!  It will make General Conference even more fun as we try to search for her during the musical numbers :)
Nate is the Weblos leader in the ward so the kids and I tagged along for their Lego Derby one night.  The boys had so much fun building lego cars and racing them down the track.
This month was a big one for Callie too. She learned to crawl, she learned to clap her hands, she learned to say mama (she already says dada) and she is eating a ton of table food.  I can hardly believe she is almost 9 months...time is speeding by!
And luckily there have been some beautiful warm days this February so we were able to hang out outside! We love being outside.  The boys spend a lot of time with the neighborhood kids riding bikes, jumping on the tramp, playing tag and frisbee and being care-free.  And Callie and I have spent time outside with them.  She usually hangs out in the stroller or on a blanket.  We are so ready for spring.  Hopefully the warm weather stays longer next time!
