We celebrated Callie's first birthday with a pancake and pajama party the morning of her birthday. My friend Kara made Callie a beautiful birthday banner and party hat for the occasion and it was so fun throwing my first girl party ever! :) We served fruit kabobs, pancakes with every topping possible, and juice and milk. It was a great, low key way to celebrate the birthday girl.
Also, the day before Callie's party, my parents had a sleepover with the boys so Nate and I got to go on a little date with just Callie. We went to U-Swirl and boy does that girl like frozen yogurt! It was a fun little birthday date with Callie.
For Callie's "smash" cake, we just made a pancake stack with sprinkles and a glaze.
At first, she wasn't too interested in it but, once she tasted it, she liked it and stuffed it in her face.
And when Callie was done with her pancakes, Brennan was more than happy to clean off her tray.
Callie got some fun little gifts. The baby dolls were a big hit. It is so fun to finally have some pink/girly toys in our house!
Happy 1st birthday Callie!!Also, the day before Callie's party, my parents had a sleepover with the boys so Nate and I got to go on a little date with just Callie. We went to U-Swirl and boy does that girl like frozen yogurt! It was a fun little birthday date with Callie.
