{New Years Day Bowling}

We celebrated New Years with some bowling at Jack and Jills with the Brewers.  We had a little competition to see which couple could get more points and the Brewers ended up beating us by ONE point!  So we bought them dinner afterwards :)  It was a fun way to celebrate New Years.

 Callie wasn't so interested in bowling, she was more interested in grabbing Nate's nose!

 {Playing Outside}

We have had such a mild winter so it has made for lots of great days playing outside.  Aiden and Brennan play basketball ALL THE TIME and Callie and I often go out too so she can play in her car and on her trike.

 {Awards Dinner and Couples Massage!}

Thanks to Nate's company and Nate's hard work, we were able to enjoy a couples massage up at the Cliff Lodge at Snowbird.  It was our first couples massage ever and it won't be our last!

 Then that night we had a Black Tie dinner we got to get all dressed up for and enjoy an 8-course meal. It was such a great night!

 {Norm and Billie's Sealing}

Nate and I were able to witness the temple sealing of my uncle Norm and his wife Billie.  It was so special to see this sacred ordinance take place and we are so happy for them! Here's a picture of my dad and all of his siblings:

Our kids have LOTS of energy so we took them to Lowe's one day to get all of their energy out. No one would stay still long enough for me to get a decent picture but I attempted to get a few action shots anyway:

{Curiosity Museum}

While Lydia and Aiden were away at school one day, we went to the Curiosity museum with Samantha and kids and had a great time.  We love that place!

Nate put Callie at the top of our closet and she loved being up there.  She did not want to get down!  

Rayane makes these beautiful headbands and she was sweet enough to send a few to Callie.  

 

The boys loved our FHE lesson on missions one Monday night and they were so excited to try on Nate's nametags.  Their new favorite primary songs is "I Hope They Call Me on a Mission" and they are often talk about where they want to serve.  I love hearing and seeing A&B get so excited about missions!

 {Sick, sick, and more sick}

We had a two week period of lots of sickness during January.  First, Callie got super sick and lethargic for nearly a week.  Then I got sick, and then Brennan, and then Aiden.  It was a long couple of weeks and I really hope all the sickness is gone for a long, long time.

To celebrate my dad's big birthday, we surprised him at Pizza Factory on his birthday.  And then we went to my parents for homemade ice cream sandwiches.  It was a fun night!

 {We got a TRAMP!}

We were planning on getting a tramp in the spring but because the weather has been so warm and spring-like now we decided to buy it now.  I have never seen the boys SO excited for something before.  They helped Nate set it up really late one night and since then they have spent tons of time on it.  And Callie loves it just as much.  I am sure this tramp will provide hours and hours of entertainment for a long time.  It was definitely worth the money!
