March in pictures

We celebrated Brennan's big 5th birthday (as I showed in the last post) but he got another little birthday celebration at my parent's house on his actual birthday.  He loved celebrating all weekend long! My parents began watching Nathan and Danae's three girls that day (while N&D went on a trip to Hawaii) so it was fun to have them to celebrate with us too! Ava and Callie aren't quite sure of each other yet (and certainly don't like sharing yet) but it was fun seeing them together. And Aiden and Brennan LOVE playing with Camryn and Sydney so it was a great week having them here in Utah!
Some of these pictures were taken on my mom's phone and it was set to a weird setting so the coloring is a little off, but the pictures were still cute so ignore the lighting :)
While they were in town, we spent a day at Kangaroo Zoo and another day at Farm Country.
The day we went to Farm Country, we met up with Julie, Jill and her kids, and Andrea and Peter.  We loved having more cousins (2nd cousins this time) there too.
Sibling love is the best!
Callie was SO excited and anxious to get on the pony and once I put her on she panicked!  It was so funny that she liked the ponies but only from a distance :)
Aiden lost his first top tooth the day before Farm Country, so here he is showing off that big hole in his mouth.
We also had more cousins (Tadje cousins) come visit for a day so we met up for dinner and the dino museum.  Our kids are so lucky to have so many cousins.
Lots of boys in the Tadje family - Lydia is sure outnumbered!
And if it seems like we have been to Thanksgiving Point a lot lately, we have!  We love our passes and went a few more times during the month with other friends and cousins.
One of the Saturdays in March, we went up to Salt Lake with the Brewers to go to the Planetarium, dinner, shopping, temple square, and to ride Trax. We always have so much fun with them! Our kids play all the time (Aiden and Paige are convinced they are going to get married one day, haha!) and us parents get along so well too.  Alison and I workout together, Nate and Justin played basketball and cycled together (before his shoulder surgery), we do game nights often, BBQs, fun outings, and we could talk with them forever and never run out of things to talk about. They have become our closest friends and we love living just a few houses away from them!
The kids were mesmerized by this contraption at the Planetarium:
We spotted them holding hands and I had to snap a picture :)
Other pics from the month:
We went to the Lone Peak track one day to run around and Aiden ended up running a mile and Brennan ran a mile and a half!  For a 5 and 6 year old they did awesome! They want to run a kids race this year so we're gonna be looking out for one for them.
Brennan had his Kindergarten check-up.  I can hardly believe my #2 kid will be in elementary school next year!
I have the cutest activity day girls that LOVE Callie!  I hire a couple of them to come over twice a week to watch Callie while I get some stuff done.  Callie loves it and I love having a little alone time to get some stuff done around the house.  Win-win!
We had our annual Irish dinner at my grandma's house - complete with Corned Beef and Cabbage and all.  We did the usual Irish trivia (which Nate and I are horrible at) but we still had lots of fun.
Every Wednesday night, the kids and I would go cheer on Nate during his intramural basketball games.  The boys LOVE watching Nate play and look forward to it each week.  They look up to Nate so much and try to be just like him in every way.  That's probably why our boys love basketball so much :)
With the amazing weather in March, we spent a lot of time outside.  The weather this spring has been so beautiful so far...hopefully it lasts!
Brennan has playgroup every Thursday with these cute kids. I'm so grateful Brennan has such a great group of little friends.
We went to dinner at Rich and Kamilla's one night and Nate got to take each boy on a little ride around Grantsville on Rich's four-wheeler.  Aiden was super nervous about it and just went on a little ride with Nate and Brennan LOVED it and kept wanting more and more.  That sums up their personalities - Aiden as the cautious, careful brother and Brennan and the crazy, fearless brother. They are the perfect balance for each other.
