Easter this year was wonderful! What a perfect time of year to remember Jesus Christ and all He did for us. Since Conference was on Easter this year, we dressed up in our "Easter outfits" the Sunday before. I got ambitious this year and sewed Callie's dress and my skirt. I know it's a little cheesy to be "matchy matchy" but it was fun to match my little mini me for a day :) Nate and the kids were nice enough to oblige for a few pictures before church.
The day before Easter (before Conference) we went to the annual Northwestern Mutual Easter egg hunt...
...then we went to another Easter egg hunt with our friends after the first session of Conference.
These pictures were taken right after we said, "Ready, Set, Go!" As you can tell on their faces, these kids were definitely excited to find some eggs!
After the second session of Conference, we met up with my family at Pizza Pie Cafe and enjoyed as much pizza as we could fit in our bellies :) Then while the guys went to the Priesthood session, my mom, Becca, and the kids and I went shopping. It was a great Saturday.
On Sunday, we were enlightened with two more sessions of Conference (seriously I LOVE Conference weekend and being uplifted from our leaders!) and then we went to my parent's house for Easter dinner and another Easter egg hunt. By the end of all three Easter egg hunts, we had candy to last us til the end of the year! But we weren't complaining!
Conference and Easter in the same weekend is the best! It was a weekend to remember!
